laws of religion

The notion of religion and whichever that begets (sharia law for instance) poisonous when tried as a model of governance.
the very basic problem with having what muslims call the word of God is that followers of other religions don't regard it as such. And thus you end up with a massive mess which would certainly lead to destruction on an unimaginable scale. Because basically everyone else think that they are right and others are wrong.  We can see a very good example of that in our own country.
having faith and following sharia law is ok if you choose to believe that way. that is a universal right and anyone should be free to think the way they like if you ask me , but the state should be secular and religion-less to secure a fair governance for all its citizens.
